Every penny raised will go directly to Christynn Holt, a San Diego woman who is battling stage
three Ovarian Cancer. Auction #1, which contained a set of 15 of my books and the chance to be a
character in my next book, was held last month. Winning bid: $1,100!
That first auction prompted an outpouring of support from dozens of other authors, who generously
donated their books to help raise more money for Christynn. All books will be personally inscribed
by the authors to the winners.
Here were the final results:
Auction #2 (4 books) The Elite Operative Books, personally inscribed by both authors. You’ll get
Lethal Affairs, Thief of Always, and Missing Lynx right away, and you’ll get book 4, Dying to Live
(also personally inscribed by both authors) shortly after its release in February 2011.

Auction #3 A copy of the script for the L Word PILOT Episode. The script has photocopied
autographs from many in the cast, including by Leisha Hailey (Alice), Katherine Moennig (Shane),
Jennifer Beals (Bette), Pam Grier (Kit), Mia Kirshner (Jenny), Karina Lombard (Marina), Laurel
Holloman (Tina), Erin Daniels (Dana), and Eric Mobius (Tim). PLUS 4 photographs taken of the

She’s also offering the opportunity for someone to help develop a character in one of three stories
she’s working on. The winner would work closely with Fran in the development of the character and
her/his name and if interested, can be a beta and will receive a print copy of the book if it is
published. She’s presently working on a sequel to The Illusionist series and a sequel to Solaria.

plus a few large side donations that I know of that were made by readers and authors
who heard about these auctions and opened their hearts. There were a number of smaller
donations as well, not included in this total. What a wonderful tribute to the warm, caring
souls of our community.
